IOP shortlisted for The Concrete Society Awards

The new headquarters for the Institute of Physics (IOP) in King’s Cross has been shortlisted for a Concrete Society Award.

Celebrating the best new projects in the UK, the awards are given for excellence in concrete design and construction, and the exemplary use of the material.

Featuring a visual concrete interior, IOP is a highly sustainable building which acts as a ‘living lab’ to showcase physics and innovative technology. Crafted and carefully detailed exposed concrete has been incorporated into the design as part of the sustainability strategy.

Winners will be announced at a London ceremony this November.
