TateHindle Cycle to MIPIM 2018
Directors Andrew Tate and Harish Ratna hosted TateHindle’s Cycle to MIPIM this year, with a new route from Marseille to Cannes, planned by Tom Shooter from More Adventures.
Nine cyclists took part in the annual fixture, now in its ninth year, as a prelude to the MIPIM conference in Cannes. Setting off from Marseille airport, the cyclists took the route in their stride; challenging climbs, strong winds and mechanical problems including a puncture or two.
Travelling through the Parc de Luminy and along a spectacular coastline, the cyclists rode a total of 270km over three days with overnight stops in Cassis and Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer. The architectural highlight of the tour was a stop to Cité radieuse in Marseille, where the group enjoyed a visit of Le Corbusier’s Unité d'habitation.
