Reinstating the grandeur of 60 Lombard Street

TateHindle has completed a new administrative support office on 60 Lombard Street for Falcon Group.

Located in The City of London’s historic financial district adjacent to the Bank of England and Royal Exchange, on a street renowned for its connections with merchant, banking and insurance industries since the medieval age; it was a key location until the 1980s as most UK-based banks had their head offices in Lombard Street. Dating from 1911, the Grade II Listed building features a Neo classical exterior. Previously the headquarters for TSB Bank, it was last refurbished in 1985 when the building was completely remodelled behind retained facades.

The redevelopment reinstates the grandeur and a high quality interior inspired by Art Deco with a sympathetic refurbishment that befits the building's heritage. A spacious interior creates a comfortable hotel like office environment for staff, and provides a mix of private and open plan workspaces alongside leisure facilities including a restaurant, gym, games lounge and relaxation room.
