Waffly Good: 45 Folgate featured in Concrete Quarterly

45 Folgate Street has been featured in the autumn issue of Concrete Quarterly.

Marking the publication’s 70th anniversary, the issue reflects on the changing fortunes of concrete over the past seven decades, and includes the project to illustrate the renaissance for exposed concrete in buildings. The article highlights how TateHindle’s transformation of the 1980s office building involved stripping it back to the frame to reveal the original concrete soffit and coffers. Retained for their rich texture and raw finish, they are left visible and celebrated as a key feature.
