61 Southwark Street revitalised

TateHindle has completed Cooper & Southwark for HB Reavis.

The 1970s office building has been upgraded with a comprehensive Cat A refurbishment and extension, bringing it up to contemporary standards. Prominently located on the corner of Southwark Street and Great Guildford Street, the newly transformed office development has undergone a number of significant changes to maximise its full potential as a workplace for the 21st century.

Central to the overhaul has been the consolidation of the 7-storey building’s mass into an efficient and coherent whole. One of the key moves to gain additional space has been to infill an open car park area to the rear of the site to create a light-filled 3-storey atrium at the heart of the development.
