Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2018

TateHindle enjoyed a visit to the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition, one of the not-to-be-missed events of the year as the institution celebrated its 250th anniversary.

Grayson Perry’s pick of colourful and tongue-in-cheek artworks and an architecture gallery curated by Piers Gough did not disappoint. Prominently located at the exhibition’s entrance, the architecture room inspired with a display brimming with architectural models at eye level inviting close inspection and celebrating the craft of making.
