Davis House
Davis House is a new-build mixed-use development in central London designed by TateHindle.
The building is highly economic and exceeds all of the sustainability requirements of the GLA by using a ground source heat pump to cool the offices and retail outlets.
The amount of floor space achieved in this tight central location is also impressive. It consists of 60,000 sq ft of office space, with 7,200 sq ft of retail space. There are also 38 apartments, incorporating social and affordable housing and all private apartments were sold off-plan.
The layout of the office floors is simple for maximum flexibility and incorporates full height glass to give light uninterrupted floor space. It also benefits from two large light wells which allow light deep into the space.
